  1. Custom Post Type (CPT) “Stores” (for stores listing)
  2. Custom Post Type (CPT) “Events”
  3. Multiple widgets (5 in total)
  4. Custom metaboxes (2 in total)
  5. Custom field (for embedding video instead of featured image)
  6. Modified WP Gallery shortcode expanding with responsive lightbox script

RTL support

Theme comes with RTL stylesheet. You will need just to download WordPress version in RTL language (Arabic, Hebrew) and specific RTL stylesheet included into package will do the job. Here are below a few screenshots showing how theme looks in RTL:

Is this theme ready for mobiles?

The theme is ready for any screen size / screen resolution (from 2560 px to 320 px) and here below you may view screenshots taken on iPhone 4S:

CPTs or Custom Post Types

Theme comes with 2 CPTs wrapped in plugins. Once you install and activate these plugins you will see them on the left side in Dashboard menu (marked with colouful icons):

CPT allows to create a set of specific (typically united by certain subject) posts unrelated to main blog posts. If CPTs were a part of the theme, by switching the theme you would lose the content of CPT posts. But, once CPTs are wrapped in plugin you may be quiet about your content. Switch the theme whenever you will feel the necessity but take my plugins to another theme and you will never lose your content.

What if you wish to customise or modify the theme?

Majority of things you might be wanting to change/replace in the theme, you may customise via Dashboard–Customiser without touching the code. Here is a screenshot of theme options (detailed description of what and how to use you will find in Help file):

However, if you wish to modify theme pages layout, colours, blocks of content, rearrange blocks, replace things, remove features and so on you should know (more or less) css, html, js and WP php.

Theme checks

Theme is checked with W3 HTML validator (no errors) and with Theme Check (passed the tests).

Hi there, I wrote this morning before I found your helpful 'help' pages. I am making good progress but am stuck on the widgets - you make reference to adding dragging custom widgets onto the contact block for instance - for the life of me I can't find the custom widgets? Do I have to add these so they are visible? Your help would be appreciated. thanks Patrick

Hello- I am assembling the website, and so far is it working well. I am having difficulties though, with the widgets and putting them in the proper place. I do not see the named widgets in the pdf instructions on my site. Do I have to install them separately? Thank you, Caryl

Disregard this, I figured out some of it. I did find that I could not use the child theme for this, none of the plugins would work when I activated the child theme. I am having challenges with the individual events and vendor pages..they show up on the front page, and in the widgets, but when I click on read more, they do not show up. Please help me trouble shoot this. I have gone through the instructions in the pdf several times, and do not see anything regarding this issue. Also, if you could advise on the child theme issue that would be great! Thanks!

I apologize for the many comments as I am building this. I am not sure why, but the issue with the individual events and stores are now working, I don't know if they take a bit to fully load on the site, but anyhow, they are now working. I still have the problem with running the child theme and the plugin widgets not working. The last thing that I can see that I would like to have fixed is on on the pages for store and events, the sliding title uses the latest post title, instead keeping the page title. I see that for the individual posts, a sliding title can changed in customizer, but I don't see anything for the pages. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello Caryl, thank you! First (as far as I understand it is not actual anymore but still: in Help file I named all widgets and dedicated areas, example: "9. drag custom “Quotation Block” widget onto “Quotation Block” area:" or "8. drag custom “Home Page Contact Block” widget onto “Home Page Contact Block” and so on–if you still need widgets and areas (sidebars) titles they are all mentioned in PDF). 2) I put a few common titles for certain pages which can be changed via Customise (example: "Welcome" on Home page or "Stores" on Stores page) while for example category name will appear as category name (example: if you select category "Press" you see a sliding title "Press"). For pages like Login or any other page a title you have defined will appear (demo example: About page–if you entitle it "About Me" sliding title will be "About Me"). If you wish to change the current structure open index.php (assuming that you are familiar with WP php) and change things as you wish–line#23 under Best wishes! Tanya

Follow up - I need to know how to correct a possible wrong click please. I was editing in text every time and every page. I opened up one morning and clicked on edit and only code shows up (which I don't understand at all). It also does not show the bar above the post section that generally includes (paragraph, heading 1,2,3,4, text color and etc). My question is how to I correct to be able to edit in text or basically WYSIWYG. Thank you. Bob

If you are asking about Tiny MCE–it has two modes: Text and Visual. You need Visual. More about how to use WP read here: https://codex.wordpress.org/

Just to advise I am not very happy with the extended services I paid for so lets try it again please. I have been editing all pages with visual (text) and then open the website to work on it and all pages are now appearing in code. I don't understand code - just need to know how to get the pages back so I can edit in text please. I never mentioned Tiny MCE but if you will tell me it will do the job, I will download it and advise how to turn it on to use. I need to know how to correct or I have to junk the theme and move on. As I said–if you use Tiny MCE (inbuilt editor available on every post and page of WP) use "visual" mode. This is said about post or page content. How to use WP interface is not covered by theme support (theme and WP interface are different things, I am as authour responsible for theme, not for user's familiarity with WP interface). If you mean how to modify php files while you are unfamiliar with html/css/js/php programming languages you will not be able to do that job yourself. Only a professional may help in modifying of theme files structure. Thanks!

Hello, thank you for your interest! I wrote a few plugins (CPTs, widgets and metaboxes) which help to arrange the theme and get the identical to demo outcome of your site. More is written in item description and in "About" page of the demo: http://demo.virtuti.info/demonstrations/vt22/?page_id=51 Merchant Login is a default WP login feature which allows to anyone to register on website and if admin defines a role of "contributor" for registered user (more is written in Help file which comes with theme package), this registered user may create posts under "Stores", add content, upload images, add info like phone, email, Facebook page etc and send the post for admin's approval. Once the post is approved the registered user may edit post, add content (texts, pictures, videos, etc) Hope that helps, best wishes! Tanya

Thanks for a quick reply? Some other quick questions I have are 1: Do you provide demo data or theme with demo data already on it? 2: Are most of the popular plugins compatible with this theme? I really wanted to use Woo Commerce because we are going to install it for the farmer market.

Hello, 1) as mentioned in item description: yes 2) as I wrote already: since I am not familiar yet with how woocommerce works, I am afraid to give ungrounded promises. However, if woocommerce works with TwentyX, there is no reason it won't work with my theme cause principles of theme construction are the same. But again: I have not checked, I have not tested woocommerce in action yet. Thanks!

Hello and thank you very much! I think any shopping cart will work but! a lot of extra work will be required (mainly styling). I know that EDD plugin (digital sales) or Woocommerce (both digital and normal) will work. But again, Woo will require not only extra styling (and this is huge work) but overwriting template files (for example, product-archive.php). EDD will require solid amount of time to style shop pages as well. I believe same effort with styling will require any cart. Thank you!
