Hi, I see that the large images/article buttons have a subtitle, is it possible to add a subtitle to the smaller ones as well. E.g. on the preview page, "Below the sea" has a subtitle, but the two stories below "Mopeds & More" and "Video background" don't have subtitles. Thanks!

Hey there, The theme is designed to only show the sub title on the full width images. This decision was made due to available space at different screen sizes because on some smaller screens having the subtitle on the smaller images made the layout looked a little crowded. Hope this helps?

It helps, thanks! I was wondering if that was the reason, since on smaller screens, all article images are the same size and the subtitles disappear (e.g. on a phone). I assume it's straightforward to add the code to the smaller images with some CSS to adjust the font size?

Hi Yes that is easy enough to do. We can show you in our support how to reverse the CSS that is removing this on mobile devices :) Look forward to helping you with this! Cheers

Hi! Thanks for a superb theme. I'm really happy with my purchase. Two questions that I hope you could help me with: 1. Where is my menu? (Yes, I have tried activate many different menus, still doesn't show.) 2. Where is my slogan? (I have text in the field but it doesn't show on the page.) Pls, have a look at my page and tell me what is wrong--> www.jonottosson.com Many thanks in advance. /Jon

Hey, in case you have not gotten in touch with the support team (http://themebeans.com/support), here's some answers: 1. You need to activate the Hidden Sidebar panel (which holds the menu). It's activated in the Theme Customizer > Theme Settings. 2. It should show up below the logo. Note that the tagline shows up in your page title (for SEO purposes) though the header tagline is the text that appears below the logo. In the future, please contact us through the Help Desk - it's much easier to respond and keep track of support. Thanks! Rich

Hi I just bought your theme, really love it. But I have a little problem with my Disqus plugin that I use for my comments. It fills out and it's not pretty. How can I get the Disqus in the same px as the text of the blogpost? Kind regards

And there's another thing as well, I see that when scrolling down on my homepage (I put the amount of posts per page on 31) that there's something wrong with the pictures. They stick together.

Hey there! As noted in our theme doc, you need to put the posts-per-page value to a multiple of three (http://docs.themebeans.com/forte/#NumberofPosts) in order to get them to display properly with the infinite scroll enabled.

Nice one! One bug: the comments section is looking confused in safari - here is a screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/1P1M3u1P0k1H . Another one: the small animated arrow on the right does not link to the content. Is this a feature or a bug? And what is the best size for featured images, please? Best regards, r.

As always, thanks Rappel! I appreciate the safari bug report per the comments. I've already fixed it and uploaded the updated version here. No the down arrow does not link to comment, it simply notifies the reader that there's more down below the hero area :) Thanks for helping making Forte great! Rich

No problem mate :) Just about any size will work - though the bigger the better (though you need to be sure to compress the image so it does not take as many resources to load). I'm using images of many different sizes throughout the demo, some really small and others super big :) Rich

    1. It's difficult to find an e-mail to use for support (just saying). 2. We're experiencing some errors on mobile. Have screenshots, but not sure where to send them. In words: -The pull quote has strange formating on mobile. -images that are centered images float left -The menu line overlays the featured image https://www.dropbox.com/s/gntd2v3qkzixqdm/Bilde%2014.05.15%2C%2020.12.32.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/1zuwk4nuptwz9o0/Bilde%2014.05.15%2C%2020.12.26.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/cix8nu6vk9jamwq/Bilde%2014.05.15%2C%2020.12.45.png?dl=0 Otherwise awesome theme!

Dear Themebeans, Really Great work, thank you for this theme. I have a question, the main layout of the posts seems to follow the following pattern: 1. Post 1 's image width stretches across the whole container. 2. Post 2 and 3 images are organized side-by-side in a grid layout. Is it possible to have all the posts appear side by side, two posts at a time. There is no option in customizer to do so. Maybe manually via css edit Thank you for your help, Best Regards, Taki

Hey Taki! Glad you like Forte! There's not an option at the moment, though we're working on adding multiple homepage/index feed layouts. Currently the layout CSS is in style.css under the BLOGROLL section (line 1135ish). Rich

Hey Rich! Thanks for creating this theme! I love it! I have a question: I installed the XML to see the template the same you have it in your demo and the homepage doesn't look as in your demo. It's an empty page - just the left sidebar and logo. I had another theme previously. Should this be the reason? Could you assist, please? Thanks! Julia

Hey Julia! I'm glad you like Forte - it's definitely my favorite theme we've created. It could be caused by a couple of little issues, but double check that you have the home page set up as the latest blog posts (http://thmbns.co/Zdev). After that, go ahead and re-save a post just to see if your database needs to "catch up" to the theme. If neither of those work, give us a shout at the Help Center with your login details and we'll figure out what's going on. Look forward to hearing from you! Rich

Hi there -- love the theme! One question (apologies if it's been asked and I missed it): is it possible to deactivate the hyperlink for some of the images on the homepage so that only certain images link to blog posts and other images have no click-through (these could, for example, only show quotes)? Thanks a ton!
