NOTE: Please disregard any irregularities in the theme preview such as extra spacing and some characters that may look out of whack. NOTE TO ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS: Please refrain from posting your URL of where you have used this file in the comments section as i am trying my best to prevent ripping of this and other files. Instead e-mail me your URL if it’s utterly important for me to see it live. Thanks for understanding – Pedrodonkey

Hi, Try removing the "O" from the following line found in the index.html file: format: 'ODHMS' You can also check out the credits in the documentation file for a more in depth explanation of the count down script. Hope that helps

It doesn't work in version 8.. Don't know if it doesn't work in other versions too. There appears no text such as 'invalid email'. Nothing is added to 'subscribers.txt' and i receive no mail. In firefox everyting works fine.

OK, one more thing and that's all =) I can suggest to change function strstr to stristr in subscribe.php. Because when I tried to check is it work alright, I've found that it can save the same address like: [email protected]; [email protected] etc... at least I changed my copy. Regards, Maxim.

To those using this for Wordpress, you may notice that Wordpress re-directs the index.php page back to the index.html page when you try to view it directly. I dispensed with any Maintenance plug-in and simply FTP'd the files to my root folder. Then I followed these steps to disable the re-direct and it worked flawlessly. Here is the link: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-can-i-turn-off-wordpress-indexphp-redirect-to-domain-root This is how I did it by choice without messing with htaccess and the other Maintenance plug-in mentioned, so it's simply another option for those who may want to try. Now regular visitors automatically see the index.html page while I can direct my clients to the link mydomain/index.php so they can see the progress on their sites. Just my 2 cents :)

Much appreciated! Thanks for sharing your experience with the file CLINE123. It seems quite a few users are using this file for wordpress themes so i've started to work on integrating it into a plugin of it's own. The file should be updated quite soon. Cheers, and thanks again for your input.

I can't think of anything else that would be to blame other than the email sending ability of your server. Seeing as it is writing the emails to the txt file, the next step in the process is for the script to fire off the e-mail so if it's not doing that then the issue lies within that capability. You can try turning on error reporting and running a test. Any problems should appear within the logs and that will be easier to troubleshoot. Cheers, Peter

Hi, As you can see from the demo it's working perfectly well. Please read the documentation and make sure you have set it up correctly before demanding a refund. If you still insist on getting a refund then contact Envato support as this has nothing to do with myself. Cheers, Peter

Is the actual e-mail address being written to the txt file? EDIT: Try replacing line 80 in your subscribe.php file with the following

    $read = fread($f, filesize($subscribersList));

It might not look like it's any different to what's there now but the small space after the first comma might make a difference. The issue seems to be something with the way your hosting server reads the empty file before writing to it. This is usually due to the mod security function your hosting has enabled giving out false positives. If the above solution doesn't fix it then i would recommend getting in touch with your web host support and showing them the error to see what they say.

Hi, A WordPress plugin is currently in the works but i can't say when it will be up on themeforest. In the meantime there are a couple of maintenance plugins for WordPress that allow you to use your own custom HTML files and some users have used these successfully with the Launching Soon Page. Just a couple comments, mandoman got it to work with the JF3 plugin. Shoot me an e-mail if you need any help setting it up, it's really quite easy. Cheers, Peter

any recommendations of placing social media icons into the current "Launching Soon" theme? Think it would be helpful for people to connect with a current Facebook profile or Twitter presence before site launches .. Would love you input on this.

Hi, The easiest approach and without modifying the layout too much would be to include some small 16x16 icons in the lower left hand corner, something like this perhaps? You can use the free social media icon set found here: http://www.nouveller.com/general/free-social-media-bookmark-icon-pack-the-ever-growing-icon-set/ Or you could even integrate the Facebook Like button and the twitter Tweet button if you prefer. If you need any help getting either of those options integrated let me know. Cheers, Peter

Hi, Not sure if it's got anything to do with this template, but i was recently targeted by hackers and my hosting company said it was a db entry changed which allowed them access to the host. Any others had issues with hacks etc? Regards

Hi mate, You would be the first to have encountered/reported such an issue. Unless the files which you downloaded somehow were modified before you uploaded them to your host i don't see any other sort of reason as to why this could happen. Have a look at the files for any sort of iframes or html code that doesn't look right. I've downloaded a copy myself but it seems squeaky clean to me. Cheers, Peter

Hi, Sorry about that, it seems i updated the documentation on the last update and overwrote that section for some reason. I would recommend using something like this: http://detectmobilebrowsers.mobi/ as it's probably the most well rounded browser detection script available out there at the moment. There's a couple other options you could use if you're targetting just iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad users or a specific screen size (or lower than a specific screen size) Here is a piece of sample code for re-directing iPhone and ipod Touch users:

Here is a piece of sample code for re-directing all users depending on the size of their screen(adjust accordingly):

    Hope that helps

Is it better to redirect using .htaccess, do you think? Also, I've emailed you regarding your source code cloaking for your preview. What do you use for that?

Hi Jack, I've replied to your e-mail regarding the encryption software used. I would probably use the .htaccess option of re-directing as it will fire before the page even loads so that could be a better option. Cheers, Peter
