    Hello again! I have your popup hooked up with my Mailchimp account and it all looks to be functioning perfect. However, I'd like to store some additional information (via a "custom field" in Mailchimp) about each subscriber. I embedded the below snippet in the form (i.e.

    ), but it does not seem to storing properly in Mailchimp. Could you please let me know how this can be done?

    I've tested this exact snippet on other forms on my site too with no issues!

    Thanks for letting me know. Seems I forgot to include placeholder into translation base. I'll update one in next release. For now you can do the following. Please find line #928 which begins like:

    <input class="subscribepopup_input" name="subscribepopup_email" placeholder="Enter your e-mail" id="subscribepopup_email" ...

    Find placeholder attribute which is:
    placeholder="Enter your e-mail"

    Please replace it by
    placeholder="'.__('Enter your e-mail', 'subscribepopup').'"

    Hi. According to WP idea you must create .po and .mo files with translation. You can take .pot file in folder "languages" (http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit/). Or you can just Ctrl+F (search) appropriate strings in .php file and replace ones by yours (be careful while edit .php file, do not break it).

    It is necessary to edit plugin file to remove text fields and button. The idea of the plugin is in this fields. If you don't need them, it is better to use Welcome Popup. You can insert any HTML-content inside of popup (including images).
