Hey :) i just bought your template. the code is not SEO :/ the sidebar is loaded first, then comes the main content :( are you planing to remove the using of timthumb.php? WP has this function without the script. So, now my main question: Is it possible to show the latest entrys on the mainpage (Homepage) above the widget area? like every other blog. It would be nice to show f.e. the first 3 posts (wordpress setting), then the widget area (like in the category view). best regards from munich!

Hi, Thanks for purchasing. I truly appreciate it. I didn't write that this theme is SEO ready. Regarding timthumb: Wordpress can't resize images 'on the fly' by default. You can use 'add_image_size' function, but it's a different things.. ;) By default it's not possible.

My featured slider doesn't work like it does on the live preview. It doesn't display a title or excerpt and doesn't slide to the next featured post. Why is that? I haven't change anything.

Ok ; I tried placing the line of code in the layout.css file. It didn't seem to work. Is it in that file that it belongs ? (I changed it back into the original layout.css file - because I don't want to mess things up...) (sorry, I'm new to this...) thanks.

Hi, I just download the theme and installed it on my local dev environment. It seems to work just fine... but for some reason on the post page "sginle.php" it does not show the content. Title, comments etc show just fine... but only the content is "broken". Has this been reported before? Thanks, Mark

If you can't get slider to work it's not mean that this is a theme problem on 3.3 . Read user's manual about "how to setup a featured slider" again and check your settings. As I say earlier, theme does not have any problems with 3.3 . Please, do not mislead people

Not trying to mislead anyone. Someone above me asked a specific question which I am having the same problem. Documentation states Featured Posts Slider on homepage depends on a post tag. To setup featured posts slider, navigate to The Times -> Featured Slider theme options panel and enter a post tag in the Featured Posts Slider Tag field - posts tagged with this tag will show up on featured posts slider. I have done this but still black slider http://writewaycommunications.ca/ shows no slider http://writewaycommunications.ca/tag/featured/ shows I have them tagged correctly http://writewaycommunications.ca/georgian-life-articles/the-coffee-shop-stayner/ shows I have defined a feature image sodanovels post asked specifically if the homepage feature slider not working was a issue under 3.3 (exact problem I have). They reverted to a back up to solve the issue. and will readdress later. I do not have the option so really require help.

Secondly, check your reading settings (Screenshot). How to setup featured slider you can read in the user's manual (article 4). For your inner pages you need to use a proper templates.

Hi - when I type a search term of my choice into the search field it currently passes the search field place holder text 'typing here for search' instead and returns '0' for the results as it's searching my site for 'typing here for search' which looks like a coding error. I noticed that it also does this on the live example page so i think it's a bug in the theme. Do you have a fix for this?

It's not a mistake. You've purchased "The Times" theme which include 2 menu locations (you can see it on the demo). The bonus theme was like a special offer. It's a two different themes.

Well I had clicked purchase from the timesbonus page when I ordered yesterday. Is this no longer available or is there a download someplace I could download it? You should probably fix the link since its misleading that the purchase button on the timesbonus demo brings you to different themes purchase, but I still need the timesbonus theme despite as the navigation doesnt offer header navigation. Please let me know.
