A fully featured membership plugin add-on for WP Full Stripe that allows you to
create protected content that only subscribed members are allowed to view.
Multiple membership tiers are available so you can offer different levels of membership, each one tied to a different subscription plan. Members have their own ‘My Account’ page that allows them to update credit card details, change their membership plan and cancel their account.
Be in total control of your protected content by simply selecting the option to make it subscriber only from the edit post page. WP Full Stripe Members seamlessly integrates with WP Full Stripe and will automatically create member accounts for customers who subscribe to membership plans that you define.
This plugin is an extension (add-on) for WP Full Stripe and as such it requires WP Full Stripe to be installed, activated and setup in order to work. This plugin will not work without WP Full Stripe installed.
This plugin was developed and tested on WordPress v4.9.8 and is also known to work on version v4.0. The plugin will be updated in the future if Wordpress updates any functionality it relies upon. It will also work with any theme and minimal styling has been added which means it will take on your installed theme’s styling.
It is highly recommended you use SSL with this plugin to provide extra security for your customers. Note: you must buy an SSL certificate to use HTTPS on your web server.
The demo is included alongside the WP Full Stripe demo. You can see the member management pages on the WordPress admin by logging in as directed on the homepage of the demo. The demo does not include a way to see the post protection mechanism – this is a new meta box on the create/edit post page that allows you to mark posts as protected plus the level of membership required to access them.

does it work with Stripe Connect?
Hello shrini, No, the plugin does not work with Stripe Connect yet. Cheers, Csaba
How can I create additional roles to tie to subscriptions? I have 10 subscription types but only 5 available default roles to tie them to.
Ok. Also, If a user with one email address subscribes to a package that has a 2 day free trail - and the subscription ends. But the user purchases the subscription again, will it prevent that user with that same email from getting another free trial?
Hello servsupport, No, the plugin does not have protection against fraudulent use of trials. Cheers, Csaba
Hi, I have been using this add-on for a while now with the dashboard so that my clients can update their account information and it has been working great, but today I had a client email me about how to update their credit card information, and I noticed that the section of the account page that allows updating payment information is no longer showing up. Do you know how I can fix this? Thanks!
never mind - I fixed the problem :)
Hello asandage, That's great! Could you please tell us what the issue was and how you resolved it? Thanks: Csaba
It has to do with another plugin that also uses roles. I needed to set it so that user profile uses both roles at the same time.
The following points can be implemented in the plugin? Profile data (personal data: BSN, Name, Last Name, Address, BIG-number etc.) - Possibility to create account etc. - Registration details - Invoicing data - Practice / Theory History> which obtains in an overview - Calendar> So that people own their practice / theory exam can plan. However, this must afterwards where necessary by the staff can be adjusted. - Including the layout in the website. all of the data is coupled to an API connection Best regards, bastian
Hello Bastian, The plugins (Full Stripe + Full Stripe Members) cannot handle what you are looking for. Full Stripe focuses on payment, Full Stripe Members focuses on providing member access based on subscription plans, and also providing customer self service for changing subscription plan, credit card data and cancelling subscription. Regards, Csaba
Is it possible to let the user define a custom amount for a recurring monthly subscription? We'd like to provide a way for our members to contribute monthly donations.
Hello bitesizemunchy, Custom amount for recurring donations is not supported currently. WP Full Stripe will support it later this year. cheers, Csaba
when stripe members are imported, can you also create subscriptions for them?
Hello openb, Actually, it's the other way around. When you have running subscriptions in Stripe, and you'd like to turn them into members then you'd use the import function. Please refer to the "WP Full Stripe -> Members -> Help" page for more information where the import process is described in details. cheers, Csaba
Is the My Account page static or is it a normal page that can be customized?
Hi, The page can be added to any post/page via a shortcode. You can change the settings to allow certain sections of the My Account page to appear, for example you can disable the ability to change or cancel plans. And of course, all the code is open source so you can edit the files if you like - plus it will take on the styles from your theme. Jamie
Hi, I'm looking for a wp members subscription with json output for a mobile application development. Does your plugin have a json output? If not, would it be something custom built? Thanks.
Hello kehnee, WP Full Stripe Members does not have a JSON API at the moment. It is an interesting feature request we put on our roadmap. If you need something along these lines than that must be custom built based on what we have. We are currently very busy adding new features to WP Full Stripe and Members so we cannot do it for you right now. Cheers, Csaba
I love your full stripe plugin. However, this addon is terrable. I would like a full refund
Hello mslill, You have to request the refund through Envato, you can find the refund policy here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund- We are committed to improving Full Stripe Members as well. Could you please tell us about your experiences with it (what worked, what didn't, what you were missing, feature suggestions, etc) at [email protected]? Thanks, cheer: Csaba
You can erase this comments. Error.
Question - How do members login to view pages, is this all via the front end or is it via standard admin login...
Hi, Members use the standard WordPress login "wp-login.php" and access is managed through the built in WordPress roles and capabilities. A new WordPress user is created for new members, or an existing user is updated, when they subscribe to the plan you have marked as a membership plan. Hope that makes sense, Jamie
Login redirect based on subscribed roles would be nice to have: e.g. https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/ Also, passing in a password through the subscription would greatly improve the flow. Lastly, this might be on my end, but if user who is not subscribed lands on a restricted page,,, they 404? Option to specify what happens could also help with registrations.
Hello petarsubotic, Good suggestions for improvement, Thank you! Csaba
Hi ! Your plugin is very interesting. Do you think it's possible somehow (extra coding work) to auto sync / import customers from Stripe to WP Full Stripe Members ? I have customers that will not be created within WP Full Stripe Members but I would like to manage them and give them access right away on my platform. Thank you !
Hello supasupasupa, You can import Stripe subscribers to WP Full Stripe Members. If you are interested, we can send you the import-related help sections of the plugin so that you can take a look. Send us an email to [email protected] and we will send it in the reply. Cheers, Csaba
Hello, I sent you couple of emails asking for some information. Can you get back at me as soon as possible ? Kind regards
Hello, Thanks, we received your questions and answered them. Cheers, Csaba
How can i upload my customer from stripe to members module so they are added easy kindly let me know, i purchased your product and made a few tweaks to make it better but need this!
Hello jqvist, I see that you've posted this question also to our support forum, so I will answer you over there. The short answer is that you cannot do it automatically on the UI at the moment. The long answer is that there is a way to do it manually (this is what I will detail in the support article) and also that we will add this automated import functionality in a future release. Cheers, Csaba
Two questions. I want to create a nice simple page for clients to "Cancel" a subscription, or, update the credit card they have in STRIPE. Is that possible? Your page says "fully" tested, but mobile responsive is the most basic requirements nowadays, it doesn't appear to be properly mobile responsive? See link http://www.screencast.com/t/f4NORkkZvC
Hi, I tried to post this on the support forum, but it appears to be broken, I just get an error " --> I had a look through related posts about roles but couldn't see this mentioned anywhere, apologies if I missed something. I'm on wordpress 4.6.1 with full stripe and membership plugins. The issue is that when a membership is paid for the user is created correctly and the stripe member role automatically assigned (in this example 'silver'), but it seems like the default wordpress user role is also assigned to the user ('subscriber'). So in the user list i see the signed up user then under roles "Subscriber, Silver" , this in itself is no issue but when i try to set up login redirects based on the user role it seems to always pick Subscriber rather than Silver. Any ideas on how to work around this ? For now I can set the default user role in wordpress as silver as a workaround, but should I need to allow other types of user to register this would likely cause an issue. Thanks, Stu
Hello Stu, We've moved the support forum to its final location, and there was an issue with file permissions - fixed. You can find the forums here: https://paymentsplugin.com/forums/ As for your question: the 'subscriber' role is assigned to the user by Wordpress automatically. What is the plugin you are using for the redirects? (We also use a plugin for redirects and it works great) Thanks, cheers Csaba
Hi Csaba, thanks for the response, i've moved this query over to your support forum instead. Cheers, Stu
Hello! Just a pre-sale question, do you still maintain this product? I would like to use this together with your Stripe product. Cheers
Hello NordicViking, We do still maintain the product. Although the product hasn't received updates recently, we are in the planning phase for new features, and also for a UI revamp. cheers, Csaba
Perfect! Thanks for your reply and info :) Cheers
Hello, I couldn't locate a demo for this plugin. I'd like to know if we can add custom fields to the "My Account" section. And are the users created just the way a normal WP user is created? Thank you!
Hello mamajoy, We didn't see your question before - apologies for that. At the moment, it's not possible to add custom fields to the "My account" page. What would be your use case for this? This add-on creates Wordpress users. The email address and name of the user is the email address specified on the payment form. The membership role is added as a role to the Wordpress user as well. cheers, Csaba
Hi, do I need this add on to give customers the option of updating their cards or can that be done with the basic plugin? cheers :)
Hello tommytank, The core WP Full Stripe plugin does not give customers the option of updating their cards. The reason for this is that WP Full Stripe does not create WP users for customers. WP Full Stripe Members does create WP users for customers. However, it is an add-on for creating membership websites. The add-on lets site owners assign subscription plans to roles and restrict the availability of content to certain roles. Cheers, Csaba
thanks, will it work for customers I already have, who've signed up using WP Full Stripe?
Please get back to me asap on this. I need to know the answer pretty urgently. If previous / current customers aren't supported then i'm going to have to switch plugins but if they are then i'll buy your add on. Thanks.
You can import Stripe customers with WP Full Stripe Members. It will create WP users, add roles, show conflicts, etc. Would you mind sharing (even privately at [email protected]) what you would use the add-on for, so that we can help you determine if it is the right fit for you? Cheers, Csaba
I've emailed you. thanks.
Bought the add-on, I didn't have any more time so had to take a chance. All's good and i've imported my members. Everything appears to be working fine. The only issue I can find and it's one that someone else has pointed out a year ago... If a non member tries to view private content they're taken to the standard 404 page. Surely setting up a specific page would be better so we can encourage the user to sign up?
Hello tommytank, Yes, we will improve the feedback when the user reaches a protected page without being logged in. We've focused on improving WP Full Stripe but we will get there soon. If you have programming experience, I can tell you where the ERR 404 is returned so that you can change it to something more informative. Cheers, Csaba
I am interested in purchasing this plugin for my website but I am wondering if there is a shortcode that I can use to protect certain content on a webpage rather than just hiding the whole page. Thanks
Hello CodyBoen, Protecting certain part of the page is not in the plugin yet. We are working on this feature, but it will be early next year when we release it. Cheers, Csaba
